Show CLAWSON'S DEATH 18 RESULT OF ill! Coroner's Jury Submits Verdict in Case of Man Who Fell Down Stairs, The delayed Inrjuest In the case of Walter S. Ciawson was concluded Thursday Thurs-day afternoon before Coroner Dana T. Smith. The additional testimony added little to the facts already brought to light In the preliminary Investigation. Jphn and Frank Cummacl: testified that they had met a man named William Brown, who told them that he had heard somebody fall down tho stairway at 1.11 Main street. They then noiIuVJ the police department de-partment and Officer Vlckery responded to the call. Orson Dyer, an emplojee of the Z. 0. M. I.; James Gibson, J. D. Watson and Ed Brughton testified that they wore with Ciawson until after midnight, mid-night, and that he had told them he intended in-tended to go directly homo. Selden Claw-son, Claw-son, a brother of the deceased, testified that his brother Walter had been subject to paralytic attacks. After listening to the testimony, the , jury brought In a verdict to the effect that Walter S. Ciawson rrme o his death from Injuries received in a fail down a (light of stairs at 131 South Main street, and that death was the result of an accident. |
