Show Strange Reunion of Three Sisters Remarkable Resemblance Leads Mrs. Bull of Salt Lake to Her Kindred. Special to The Tribune. ST. LOUIS, Mo., Nov. 23. A slight clue afforded by similarity of name, verified by a remarkable resemblanco between an aunt and her niece, has brought about a reunion in St. Louis after fifty-five years of threo sisters, two of whom supposed the other dead and one supposed the other two deadw Mm George Y. Klrkwood of 1602 Knapp street, Mrs. Joseph Dallas of 3610 Harper street and Mrs. F. J. Bull of Salt Lake City are the sisters who figure in this, the most remarkable of many family reunions brought about by the World's fair. By tho doath of their mother the separation of sisters was brought about fifty-five years ago at Now Orleans. The youngest of the sisters, who la now Mrs. Bull, was 4 years old then. During the summer a family named Bull from Salt Lake City visited a neighbor of Mrs. Klrkwood. She remembered re-membered that this was the name of her uncle ln Utah. She made Inquiries and found that the visitors were not related re-lated to her. It chanced, however, that they knew a woman named Bull, who was not related to them. By correspondence corre-spondence It was ascertained that this Mrs. Bull had married her cousin, the son of the uncle who raised her. Whatever What-ever doubt remained as to the Identity of Mrs. Bull was removed to her own satisfaction by the receipt of a photo of Mrs, Klrkwood and her daughter. The remarkable resemblance botween Mrs. Bull and the daughter of Mrs, Klrkwood convinced her of her relationship relation-ship to the St. Louis families, and she has come to, St. Louis to visit her sisters and their families and see the World's fair. |
