F Gladding, .the physician at tho Folsom State prison, stated today that Guard Jolly, who was dangerously wounded by being shot In the mouth In the break of convicts last Thursday, spent a quiet night, and at present no fears of blood poisoning or other complications setting In are entertained. His recovery practically practi-cally Is assured, ('apt Murphy Is entirely en-tirely out of danger, but la still very sore from the wound In his back made by the knife In the hands of Convict Fin-ley Fin-ley and by his fall on the Iron comb. He will be able to be out and around In a few days, but will bft lamo until tho wound In his thl;rh. In which there aro eleven 6tltlehes, heals 'Rough House K.dlv. whose left leg was amputated yesterday. Is reported by Dr. Gladding as being In a very critical condition, due to the shock of the operation opera-tion and to tho other wounds which ho received. The other wounded prisoners. Carson and Quoyada, the former of whom has his leg shattered and the latter of whom lost an arm. are reported as being In good condition und on a fair road to recovery.
