No business was transacted at tho meeting of business mcn called for last night at the Commercial club, the committee com-mittee appointed at a previous meeting meet-ing to devise a solution of the telephone tele-phone rate problem having been not ready to report. The meeting was adjourned ad-journed subject to the call of the chairman, Lester Freed. It Is believed that the commltteo will be ready to report the last of the week and It Is intimated that It may have an agreeable agree-able surprise to spring upon the telephone-using public.
