Show Nan Patterson Trial Postponed Illness of Juror Causes Delay of Ono Week in Court Proceedings. Pro-ceedings. NEW YORK, Nov. 2S. The Jury In the Patterson murder trial was discharged dis-charged today, and at the same time District Attorney Jerome served notice on Miss Patterson's counsel that a new Jury would be selected and a retrial re-trial begun at the term of court which opens one week from today. The illness of Edward - Dressier, a Juror, who was stricken with apoplexy mst week, was the cause of today's action. ac-tion. The report of his physicians, wlrlch vas made at the opening of court today, to-day, was that the Juror was In no condition con-dition to return to his duties, and left Justice Davis no alternative nut to discharge the Jury. Miss Patterson appeared very much dejected as she was led back to the Tombs to await the beginning of tho now trial. |
