Show CRISIS IN HUNGARY. Francis Kossuth Hns Conference With Emperor-King. VIENNA, Fob. 12. Francis Kossuth, the leader of the Independence party In the Hungarian Parliament, was received by tho Emporor-Klng nnd discussed with Ills Majesty tho political sltuntlon nnd cabinet cabi-net crisis In Hungary arising from tho condition of tho various minor partlos in Hungary with tho Independence party and the sweeping victory at the polls ln Hun-guary Hun-guary on January L'fi, which has resulted ln the united opposition parties being placed In control of tho lower 'liouso of the Hungarian house. Herr Kossuth has declared that It Is linposslblo now to govern gov-ern Hungary without the united opposition opposi-tion party. Herr Kossuth was with His Majesty nearly an hour and was treated with great distinction. He expressed fully his views and his party's views. Tho Emperor Em-peror listened attentively, but did not mako any roply niTcctlng the situation. If Kossuth stands fast for Ills Majosty s programme his position Is a strong one. and It Is bellovcd that ho will do so Tho solution of the political situation may bo delayed, but It Is hoped that the Emperor's Em-peror's approaching visit to Budapest, where ho will confer with other Hungarian Hun-garian leaders will do much to help find tho solution. Ho says further that when the Independence party's programme la realized all differences between Austria and Hungary will disappear.
