AFTER n session lasting until long after midnight the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers adjourned without reaching a final decision on the termo agreed to between General Manager Murray of the Rocky Mountain Moun-tain 'Belt Telephone company- and the strike committee. The committee, Including In-cluding Set'enth Vice-President M. W. Sullivan, who is here from San Francisco, Fran-cisco, met Mr. Murray yesterday morning morn-ing and readied an understanding, subject sub-ject to the action of the union. Pending-the Pending-the final action the trouble men were requested re-quested to return to work. It seems that the agreement was not patlsfactory to many of tho striking linemen, who thought that too much had been granted to the company; and this caused the protracted debate last night. At 9 o'clock this morning tho strike committee will again confer with Mr. Murray to secure, if possible further concessions. The union will meet in special session at 1 o'clock this afternoon to hear the result of the conference. con-ference. The men have been out one week, and the telephone service is beginning to suffer because of the absence of "trouble," or repair men. |
