Show licked to Death by Wild Horse Best Known Methodist Clergyman in Montana Killed While Attempting Attempt-ing to Pet Animal. Special to Tho Tribune. BUTTE. Mont., June 8. Word from Utica tonight says that the Rev. Allen Rodgers, one of the beat-known beat-known Methodist clergymen in the State, was kicked to death by a wild horse while he wns in the stall of a cayuse attempting to pet it. The animal, ani-mal, without warning, whirled on the minister, planting a terrific kick on the pit of his stomach, resulting in death three hours later. Rev. Rodgers had been prominently identified with the Methodist church in Montana for the-past the-past fifteen years. He was also a prominent pro-minent Mason. |
