Show SHEEP CASE IS DECIDED. Plaintiffs Get Judgment for S850 Against Deputy Inspector Sharp. In tho case of Potcr M. Garff ot al. vs. Josso M. Smith, James P. Sharp et al., which has been on trial at Tooele for the past five days, the Jury has returned a verdict against James P. Sharp, charging him with negligence and awarding a Judgment Judg-ment of 5SG0 to the plaintiffs In the case. No causo for action was found against Jesso M. Smith, Stato sheep Inspector. The plaintiffs sued the defendants in tho sum of W2Q and interest, charging that they were responsible for tho death of a largo number of sheep in April last, which sheep had been Impounded by Deputy Dep-uty Inspector James P. Sharp. Tho sheep were Infected with scab and whllo Impounded Im-pounded a large number sickened and died. Shortly after their death, the plaintiffs plain-tiffs brought suit agalnBt tho defendants, claiming that the shcop died from eating scrub oak. Deputy Sharp denied the charge, claiming that the shcop died from exposure in a sovero snowstorm, having been sheared the day before being Impounded. Im-pounded.
