Assisted by Anderson and Bonnion, the Preps Ran Up a Scoro of 11 to 0. By a score of II to,0 tho Unlvorslty Props dofeatod tho East Sldo high nchool In a hotly contested game played on Cummlngs field yesterday afternoon. In the first half tho Prep team played Anderson An-derson and Bennlon, both of the 'varsity team, but llkowlso Props, with the result re-sult that their two only touchdowns were mado during this part of tho gamo. Tho high school boys excelled their opponents In team work, but lacked In weight and strength of lino. A lurgo crowd of rooters root-ers was present and the players on the two teams were cheered vociferously throughout tho entire contest. Anderson Made a Run. Tho gamo began by tho high school kicking to the Preps, who carried the ball to their own thirty-yard line by a series of steady bucks. At this stage of tho gamo Anderson skirted the high school end for thirty yards and vm only stopped from making a touchdown by tho brilliant tackling of Loofborouch. Again tho Preps began to batter tho high school line, and after a scries of rapid plunges Finney was sent ovor the goal line for a touchdown. Preps kicked goal and tho score stood 0 to 0 In their favor. Finney Broke the Line. High school took tho ball on tho kick-off kick-off and carried It to tho Props' twelve-yard twelve-yard lino by a series of brilliant bucks and short-t-nd runs. Moon and Kearns did most of tlio ground gaining, whllo Kidder always Joined In tho Interference to good advantage. At this Juncture tho Props made a dotermlned stand and tho ball changed hands. A momont later Kinney broko through the lino. and. shaking off his pursuers, ran forty yards lor a touchdown. The half finished with the ball In tho mlddlo of tho field In high school's possession Whistle Prevented Touchdown. In tho second half both teams played a bucking game, x which tho high school boys had considerably tho bottor of tho argument. They wore only Intercepted lnj their triumphant march for a touchdown touch-down by tho call of the reforeo's whistle. Hyde. Riser. Andorson and Flnnoy played tho star game for tho Preps. Trc-seader Trc-seader did good work on the line for tho high school, whllo Kearns and Moon carried car-ried off tho honors for fierce lino bucks.
