Shockley, the condemned murderer of tin? two street car men, Thomas Brighton and Ainasa Glcason, Is awaiting with confidence the opinion of the Supreme court on his cbbo. In his cell on "death row" in the Stalo penitentiary, where ho has been confined con-fined ever since his trial In the District court, he h; apparently cheerful, although al-though he talks but little of his case. It Jk now nearly two weeks since the case was presented to the Supreme court. Although It Is possible that the opinion may be handed down at any lime, it Is not expected to be forthcoming forthcom-ing for a few days yet The abstract of the evidence In the trial Is very bulky and In such an important, case it is considered con-sidered with the utmost care by the court, so that further delay Is not unlikely. un-likely. Shockley continues to keep good health.
