Show I YAMPA PUTTING OUT FINE TONNAGE ORE Walter S. Kelley, the newly designated desig-nated manager of the Tintlc Mining and Development company, departed for the Yampa mines and smelter at Bingham yesterday morning, accompanied accom-panied by George IT. Itobinson, the company's managing director, Mr. Kelley to take active charge 'at once, with Superintendent "W. J. Craig" the sovereign underground. The latter, who was in from camp during the day, reports from 150 to 200 tons of ore now going daily to tho valley smelters pending tho reconstruction of the company's com-pany's own plant, While the mine is In condition to respond with any tonnage for which the management may call. Ho leaves for the Kennebec group of mines at Alia this morning to inquire into the progress of developments there, where a drift Is now being run with the strike of the Mammoth ledge. With tho outlook for the Kennebec Mr. Craig is most favorably impressed. |
