Addressing tho annual convention of the National Editorial association today on "Responsibilities In the Orient," Prof. B. F. Fenolossa of Mobile Ala., formerly professor of Toklo university, declared that the present war did not mean the extermination of Russian civilization civ-ilization nor of Japanese civilization, no malter which nation was victorious. "There Is no 'yellow peril,' " he said, "and all talk along such lines Is without with-out foundation. This war Id the culmination cul-mination of conditions and was bound to come.
