DRUMMER HITS DRUMMER CLOTHING MAN RESENTS REFLECTION RE-FLECTION ON HIS GOODS James Murphy of St Louis and H Liebmau of Chicago Meet and a Blow by Murphy Quickly Follows There was a little rulling last night about 30 oclock of the calm serenity which usually pervades the Kenyan at that hour As James Murphy a St Louis clothinghouse salesman was was leaving the hotel II Liebman a salesman for a Chicago clothinghouse was silling In the doorway Murphy was seen lo stop turn to Liebman and make a brief Inquiry as to his Identity An affirmative answer was Immediately followed by a heavy bloyv In Liebmaafs face driving hits glasses against the flesh and cutting him severely The assailant then walked away The latter lat-ter explained to several acquaintances that Liebman had been making very uncomplimentary remarks about his line of goody Mr Liebman made no attempt lo make a fight but retired to ills room to care for himself remarking remark-ing that Mr Murphy was mistaken In bio man He may seek redress In the courts
