The fourth Slate Sanitarian convention conven-tion began today under the auspices of the state board of health acting in connection con-nection with the board of health of this city. At the. morning session, after the address of the president, Henry K. Buyer, papers were, read by Hon. H. K. Weandon on ''The Necessity of Sanitary Sani-tary Organization of the Stale Under Legislative Sanction;" by Dr. C. W. Chancellor, secretary of the state board of health of Maryland on "The Purification Purifi-cation of Drinking Water," and by General D. H." Hastings on "Some of the Sanitary Lessons of Johnstown."
