ENGINEERS UNDECIDED meeting of the local Brotherhood No dengate action yet an executive session of 0 tho the local brotherhood of 0 locomotive engineers wa was held yesterday and for fo r the purpose of getting an authoritative author 1 tall ve statement of the proceedings a tribune reporter interviewed chief engineer beless last evening in reply to the question of what decisive action it if any was taken at the meeting relative to the engineers engineer joining the strikers mr beless sad eald that no action of 0 a definite nature was taken the meeting lva was attended by less than a dozen rio grand western engineers still and only a few union pacific molt men and all that was waa done after a full discussion was a decision as to what the engin cers cera would do should certain contingencies agencies arise but what those contingencies may be sir beless declined to state neither would lie say what the ibe future action of the engineers concerning the strike would probably be GRAND JUNCTION junstrom ASKED CON sir mr beless stated that a dispatch was wan read from grand junction to the effect that the engineers or at least lc abet the majority lorley of them had bad refused to so go out nith lah trains manned with scaly scab crews and asking tile engineers at this end to follow the same line of action on tho the local strike situation if on had passed between the brotherhood officials and grand chief arthur but no positive instructions or orders had yet been received from him whatever the engineers decided to do as a brotherhood said sir mr beles 9 would bo be in accordance with their c constitutional 0 ls law and they would await a w a lt and obey orders whether any individual en would iff infuse u se to go co out with scabs he would not say eay the smilar meeting of the engineers will bo be held to when possibly something else might transpire
