TO BUILD SALT ALT S REFINERY R E FINE RY Beck Company Lets Contract for Building at on San Pedro The directors of the Beck Salt company compan at a meeting hold held last evening let Jet the contract for a salt refine refinery to be erected near noar on the San Pedro whore a private sidetrack has ha recently been baen built The property Is also on the line Une of the Western Vestern Pacific The plant will be constructed with the intention ot of Increasing it to a refinery when the business of the company warrants it The company which Is an in Independent concern will refine from the crude pro duct table dairy No 1 and No 2 milling and fine lne packing salt The construction vor ork on the new plant will b be In charge of A A Rummell a milling engineer ot of Salt Lake Work Tork on the plant will corn com mence next net week It I expected that the plant will be completed in sixty to ninety days Negotiations are now under underway way to secure the services ot of an eastern salt refiner to take entire charge of the I plant when completed The action of the directors has haa been delayed on account of art arl effort that was WaB b being made to form forman I Ian an agreement with some other concerns I whereby It would not be necessary for the Beck people t ct their plant I
