Private advices, known to be reliable, state that the -Mace-Coburn fight was stopped by the Canadian authorities forty five minutes after the men entered the ring. Buffalo, 11. A Canadian gunboat pas.-ed up the Lake at 8 o'clock this morning; her supposed destination is the Mace-Coburn fight. Four large tugs left this city last night crowded with passengers, among whom were some prominent citizens of this place. Toronto, 11. Fifty armed volunteers volun-teers have just left Simcoe, about four miles from Port Ryor.-e, for the battle ground to prevent the fight. Port Dover, Ontario, May, 11. The fight between Cobum and Mace was prevented by the Canadian authorities, l'be men in splendid condition entered the ring shortly after noon. During the first round, and before a blow was struck, the sheriff and county judge, backed by a number of soldiers from Simcoe, dispersed the crowd, who fled in every direction. Field, exposing a practics of the cible management in London, of throwing the cable business busi-ness out of its order as filed, and discriminating dis-criminating on its transmission.
