Show Serious Accident. Yesterday morning Andrew Chris. Peterson was brought into town from Cottonwood canon, where he had been engaged sliding logs for Mr. Lee Miles, on a contract from Mr. S. A- Woolley, of this city. On Tuesday morniDg last, between 9 and 10 o'clock, while engaged en-gaged in his work, he seemingly got scared, and seizing a log that was rolling roll-ing down he slid down with it and was bruised and injured in a manner that may probably prove fatal. Dr. Benedict Bene-dict was called on, who went up to the canon and had the unfortunate man brought down. The selectmen of the county have provided for his care, and everything will be done for him that can be. His father resides in Bear Lake valley. |
