Show Busy. There are busy time3 at the U. C. depot. Yesterday another extra freight train arrived. Huge quantities quanti-ties of lumber, coke, merchandise, &c, are piled around, scarcely leaving room to move. When the freight house was built it was deemed large enough, for a long time to come, but by the indications indi-cations now it will soon have to be enlarged en-larged to three or four times its present size, to meet the requirements of increased in-creased business. At Messrs. How land & Co's crushing and sampling works there are piles on piles of sacks filled with the argentiferous; and from tho bustle and stir around, it would seem that all the teams and wagons in the city were busy around the depot hauling merchandise, lumber, coal, and other kinds of freight arriving and leaving. |
