Show A New W7rinkle. Mr. Yoysey, an English clergyman, who was lately condemned by an ecclesiistical court for heresy, and deprived of his living as a clergyman of the Established Church, is going around London preaching in Unitarian Chapels. The tenor of his discourses is to deny the resurrection of our Savior. He says he does not believe that Christ actually died when He was crucified. Pilate made an arrangement with the soldiers, and before He was dead He was taken to the sepulchre, restoratives were applied, ap-plied, aud He made His escape as a gardener. It is probable that this persecuted per-secuted Anglican will gather a large congregation. Ex. |
