Show Supreme Court. The following lecisions wero given yesterdy by the Supreme Court, Chief Justice McKean and Associato Justico Strickland present, pres-ent, in the case of J. F. Xounnaa and J. M. Orr, in bankruptcy: That the sum of $$,000 be set aside :rom the funds of the estate,to wait the further action of the court in the jlaim of Thomas J. Almy; and that tho claim of Mr. Almy be referred back to the Register for further proof. That the claims of the First National Bank be preferred and paid, as follows: The sum of $1,500 with interest from April 19th, 1S70, at ten per cent, per innuru; and the further sum of $2,500, vith interest from July 1st, 1S70, at two per cent, per month. That the claims of F. Little be preferred pre-ferred and paid as follows: the sum of $1,164, with interest from the 20th of January, 1870, at two per cent per month; and the further sum of $410.-10 $410.-10 to be paid without interest. That the claim of Archibald Blair be preferred for $1,660, and paid without interest. That the claim of Thos. H. Bates be preferred and paid to the amount of j $5,000, without interest That the claim of Walker Bro's be preferred and paid to the amount of $3,410, without interest. And that the claim of Kahn Bro's be preferred and paid for the sum of $593, without interest. The motion to set aside the assignee was overruled. Court then adjourned to the third Monday in Jane, 1871. |
