Show WADMAXTS DEATH Coroner Decided I Was Due to Natural Causes Butte Department of the Anaconda Standard Frank B Wadman who with his family occupied rooms at 221 South Arizona street died night before last under circumstances which prompted an official inquiry into the cause of his demise Wadman was about 40 years old and by occupation a peddler He came to Butte last spring from Ogden Utah with his family Shortly after his arrival his wife made complaint that she believed he had lost his mind and a commis sion was appointed to examine into i I his sanity As a result he was sent to I Warm Springs where hewas treated I and after five weeks was dfecharjea as I convalescent e i i DYOBrooke who had prescribed trrl Wadrnhn saw ipvifgsome time after his discharge aiiu Inquired how 16 was I doing She saltf his ntlnd seemed to bj salt rnd all right butthdt he was Jelling physically phy-sically and suffered greatly from en j scmnia Dr Brooke left sortie rtodi cine and heard nothing further about the man until day before yesterday I i 1 I While he was out in the coanty a i i message came to his office aski j him fe call on Wadman Whenhe turnel i in the evening he called at the h > usj I I i and found two physicians had already I i been tnSre j j I Wadman so his wife informed Dr j Broole was taken ill about noon and I became unconscious from vhch con I dStion > he had not recovered Dr Brooke i foundthe man breathing about four or five tiihos a minute and otherwise f showing every symptom of < p um poisoning I I poi-soning He informed Mrs Wadman there was no hope for her husband and wentaway Meeting some of the nelgh bore he inquired if they had noticed anything peculiar about the Wadman residence and was informed that the day before Wadman had some trouble with his family and was heard to re marlt that he would not trouble them much longer Wadman died about 730 in the evening even-ing and Dri Brooke informed Coroner Tremblay that he believed the man had died from opium pxrtsoning Dr Tremblay visited the place during the day and after making some inquiry into the case came to the conclusion that the death was regular enough and I that there was no occaslon for ah inquest in-quest to be held Deceased was a member of the A O U W the Woodmen of the World and of the Masons in two of which societies so-cieties he had a beneficiary policy drawn in favor of his wife He leaves two children by the present < Mr Wad man and one i is said by a ftrmer wife The remains were taken in charge by the Wordmen who ordered Undertaker Sherman to prepare the body for burial |
