Show LAID TO REST Funeral of Mrs Vilate Curire Young Yesterday Afternoon The funeral of the late Mrs Vilate Currie Young wife of Hyrum J Young took place yesterday afternoon from the residence b 54JWest Seventh South street The rvices commenced at 4 oclock by Bishop Empy offering pravpr W W Riter delivered a short address ad-dress in which referred to the glorious glo-rious hereafter to which the deceased lady had gone and her happy meeting with relatives and friends who had gone before Rodney T Badger referred in feeling and appropriate terms to the sweet and womanly character of the deceased I deceas-ed whose life had been as pure a the flowers on the casket which contained her mortal body The departure of i such an one as she was not to be mourned as were those who had no hope The speaker uttered sweet and comforting words to the husband sister sis-ter and other relatives Music was rendered by a male quartette quar-tette under the direction of Mr Ash worth and the benediction was pronounced pro-nounced by Mr Badger The house was i perfect bower of roses carnations and other choice blooms one of the most striking offerings I offer-ings being a blanket of flowers sent by the Hoyle club of which the deceased de-ceased was a member and the grave was lined bottom and sides with roses by the young lady friends of Mrs Young so that she sleeps on a veritable bower of roses The pall bearers were Edgar and Eugene Eu-gene Hills Walter Conrad Charles Wells Heher Cutler and Rodney Bad ger and the funeral procession which wended its way to the city cemetery was over two blocks in length A number num-ber of friends and relatives from Ogden were present Bishop Romney dedicated the grave and with fervent prayers sweet memories mem-ories and sweeter hopes the loved body was laid to rest |
