truth concerning these rumors a Herald representative called on Mr Frank Officer last evening even-ing and was informed that there was not a scintilla of truth in these reports and that there had been no change in the character of Sunshine ores excepting ex-cepting possibly for the better He stated however that a car load of Sunshine ore had been shipped to the Pennsylvania smelter to be roasted for experimental purposes and that this doubtless was what had given rise to the reports as naturally would be the I case under the circumstances I Mr Officer said furthermore that in i the reduction of ores at the Sunshine reducton mill the company was meeting with a I large degree df success and that over i 72 per cent of the values of Sunshine j I ores was now being saved and that it5 was confidently believed that this percent I per-cent would be greatly improved upon in the near future as experimental work was going on all the time In the companys assay office j As for the mine Mr Officer said that it was looking better and better all the time and that as for the business affairs I fairs of the company any stockholder could obtain all the information desired de-sired by
