EDUCATION WiTHIN THE REACH OF ALL Determination and grit will enable any young man or woman to get an education educa-tion In these progressive times Any smart boy in good health who is willing to work and of an enterprising disposition disposi-tion can make both ends meet at almost any agricultural college or similar institution insti-tution with but very little money to start with And an education that one has to work for is worth far more to the average young man or woman than where requires no special effort State normal schools furnish a very practical advanced education at nominal cost In Maine many of the students clubs keep expenses within 2 a week including eerything except clothes while the high schools everywhere are free to all Poverty Is no bar to scholastic training in this country but i Is well for our youth to remember that book learning alone does not accomplish the real education eu cation of hand eye brain and judgment judg-ment that fits for the battle of life I I is more truo today than ever that the farm isj the best place to bring up chI I dam and i they are taught to work ln J doors and out as well as seiU to school It is the best possible foundation for any future education 1 vocation So true Is this that with the development cheap and rapid transit by electricity families will live more in country than in city resulting In a higher standard of rural schoolsFarm and Home
