Show JBOtrtTTIFtTI SOIJ > IEHS BACK Batterymen Esturned Home Prom the hippies Special Correspondence Bountiful Jan 20 Corporal Willard J Holbrook of Call and Private Joseph Holbrok ater A arrived home from Manila yesterday yes-terday morning in good health ant spirits Both of the spldler boys aro 11n t be home and they report that the whole command under Major young and Captain Graat wouid gladly change their present quarters for their Utah homes As I rule tho health of the batteries is good tough I the climate i hard on some of the boys The Quarters now occupied by the batteries bat-teries in some old Spanish backs area Spnish a great improvement on their old location and aro much more comfortable The returned re-turned soldiers bear messages from comrades at home ratios in Manila to dear ones During yesterday and today the boys wire resting after their Ions voyage preparatory prepara-tory to resuming work in the vocations from which they were called to arms A queer incident In connection with the return of Holbrook and Call i being related re-lated A prominent lay of Bountiful the wifo of a leading business man several weeks rgn dreamed that he was at sea and met r fm Holbrook on a vessel on which he was coming home Ho gave the lady a message to his family and to tho wife of his comrade Call and told her to say to them and to all of their friends that their soldier boys would be home on Jan 1U The lady was so deeply Impressed Im-pressed with the dream that she delivered the message and many people in Bountiful Boun-tiful have since been awaiting with some curiosity the arrival of Call and Holbrook Hol-brook In order that the dream might bo verified At that time no one knew when the boys would tme but it is a remarkable remark-able thing that on the very day appointed Jan 19 they should step from the train at the Bountiful station |
