| Show UTAH MEN COMING HOME Nine Bough Rider Given Sic F lough For Thirty Days Special to The Herald Jacksonville Fa Sept 8To Pullmans mans left here this afternoon loaded with Rough Riders returning home on sick furloughs The furloughs are god for 30 days There were 67 men In all nine of whom were from I troop This is but the first installment a probably many more will follow during the next few days I Is said a limit of 15 per troop has been fixed 180 tote to-te regiment I troop has ben turning out more I men for drill lately than any other troop and though from 15 to 20 men have been on the sick list daily i has fared much better than some of the other troops There has been a great deal of sickness In the cavalry but they have fared better than the Infantry and thus far there has been but two deaths none in I troop Joseph A Young Is now quartermat er sergeant in place of Sergeant Good I win returned home A C Mackenzie has been promoted from corporal to sergeant and Frank Jardine and Jack I Rinley have been appointe corporals |
