THE SAME THim That was a very amusing spectacle which was presented in Ogden on Monday when the LiberalRepublicans voted solialy for the Liberal ticket Scores of those men had come out in favor of division on national party lines and placed themselves on record as against the continuance of the old Liberal organization there being nothing noth-ing left for that party to do Democrats who had been training in the Liberal ranks went out at tho same time Tbo Peoples party was dissolved and its exmembers joined one or tile other national parties The other day the decree went forth from the RepublicanLiberal bosses in this city that the Ogden Liberals must stop their monkeying that they must fall back into line and fight as antiMor mons The Democrats told the bosses togo to-go to Halifax or any other port which i might suit them but the Republicans I obeyed almost to a man repudiating their late independent action and yielding in opposition op-position to what they had recently declared de-clared would bo for the best interests of time city and county The Liberal vote in Ogden on Monday represents the Gentile Republicans pure and simple and the Republican II I Re-publican vote was cast almost exclusively by Mormons who made tho mistake of supposing I sup-posing there was a difference between tbo I Republican and Liberal parties Mormons I and nonMormons were true to their principles il prin-ciples and candidates and because they were true elected their tickets in the city and county making Ogden and Weber Democratic When a Republican cannot tell the difference between the Republican and Liberal parties is it any wonder that other people should fail to distinguish a dissimilarity
