Show $ I W Jlv P r3 n Tic BARBERSHOP SINGERS Bountiful Barbershop Quarter, "Something Special", displays trophies won at recent competition. Quarter member, 1 to r, are Tori Postma, Lynoa Mills, Cathi Nut-tall Nut-tall and Janette Topham. Winning first place honors in the recent women's barbershop barber-shop quartet contest at the Utah State Fair was the quar-tet quar-tet from Davis County, "Something Special." Members Mem-bers of the quartet are Cathi Nuttall, lead; Janette Topham, tenor: Tori Postma, baritone; and Lynda Mills, bass. The four women belong to Sweet Adelines, Inc., three of them sing with the Bountiful Chapter Chap-ter of Sweet Adelines, of which Tori is the assistant director. THEY HAVE been signing as a quartet for about three months now and are looking ahead to the Region 8 quartet competition to be held next March in Salt Lake City. Bountiful Chapter will be hostessing hos-tessing the convention as they are the current regional championship cham-pionship chorus. Membership is currently open in the chorus of women 18 and over; it will close in December De-cember as the chorus will then be preparing for international competition in Minneapolis. Minn., in 1982. Rehearsals are open to interested guests on Tuesday nights from 7-10 p.m. These are held at the Salt Lake Community High School, 200 N. 233 W.
