| Show INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATIONS Conference Opened in London A Motion by the Earl of Aberdeen LONDON July 21The parliamentary ccnference on i er atonal arbitration opened to day Lord Herschel presiding The Earl of Aberdeen offered a motion declaring de-claring the conference hails the concurrent concur-rent resolution of both houses of the American Amer-ican CongiOaS as a fitting reply to the address ad-dress from H4 members of tho British house of commons requesting President Harrison to negotiate with the powers for the purpose of concluding treaties of arbi tration and congratulates the autonomous trton te states of America which in the PanAmeri can conference agreed to a treaty providing provid-ing for arbitration which now awaits rati lication1 The motion was carried as was also a resolution rejoicing in the efforts to conclude a treaty arbitration between France and America |
