| Show Hock Island Wreck Victims CHICAGO July 22The accident to the east bound passenger train on the Rock Island road near Limon Colorado last night was caused by the washing away of twospans of a bridge a mile and a half from thatplace by a cloudburst The engine en-gine baggage car day coach and chair car went into the chasm and were badly wrecked The sleeper remained on tie track Twelve or fifteen people were more or less seriously injured and Engineer McCormick killed Physicians and a wrecking outfit were at once sent to the scence of the accident Among the more seriously injured are William Watson of Pueblo Cob head and face badly cut I W Woodland of Kansas City ankle bruised JlI Thompson of Buena Vista Coloj wrist sprained C C Hanlin fireman fire-man head and neck bruised E H Hen dricks baggageman hcaS cut and back hurt B Bawlins porter head and hand cut and H V Bull internally injured Engineer McCormick was not found but his body is thought to be under the engine |
