| Show Cloudbursts In Colorado DENVER Colo July 22Special telegram tele-gram to TUE HERALTJ Tho storms of the past few days have been very severe in many parts of the state Last Saturday a storm in Platt ca on caused immense masses of gravel and rock to blockade the railway track but caused no serious damage dam-age The storm yesterday in San Luis park created a flood in Conejos creeK and damaged much farming property along the southern portion of that region Considerable Consider-able damage to crops ensued Early this morning a cloudburst in Clear Crepk cafion swept everything from Floyd Hill down to Golden and it will take several days to repair the damage to the railroad Another cloudburst above Arkansas gorge damaged dam-aged the Rio Grande tracks and drowned a hundred head of cattle Other damage was caused to the road above there and no trains have come yet further than Buena Vista The Salt Lake train due here this morning is held there The damage to the track this side of Pueblo and Colorado Springs prevents the Midland road from moving any trains over its own or the Rio Grande tracks Railway travel on the mountain lines is utterly demoralized tonight to-night and it will be days before the breaks are repaired There was another heavy rainfall here this afternoon and it may takeout take-out here bridges on the roads eastward from |
