A Mysterious Bank Robbery ST JOHN N B July 22A mysterious robbery at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Woodstock has caused a great deal of excitement ex-citement 40000 have been taken from the vault and an accountant of the bank RobertG Sanders locked up charged with tho theft Saturday morning Sanders was found lying on the floor of the vault unconscious uncon-scious the vault door being wide open When he came to his senses he said he had been instructed to go to the bank early in the morning to get some money out of the vault and send it away by express on the 030 train As he entered the vault he was struck from behind ned fell unconscious without seeing his assailant No one living in the vicinity of the bank saw anybody enter or depart therefrom Many rumors 1 are afloat concerning tho burglary One is Sanders has a severe wound on his head which he said he received in the vault Another rumor is that the money stolen has been returned to the bank and all proceedings pro-ceedings will cease
