COLONEL HOLLISTEaS FUNERAD Ever since the sudden death ot Colonel O J HOLLISTER the other morning there havo been seen and heard many evidences of the esteem and respect in which the deceased de-ceased washold in tho communityand the burial ceremonies yesterday were a striking strik-ing tribute to tho popularity the standing and the worth of the man There was an immense gathering and most of the largo company of ladies and gentlemen who assembled as-sembled to pay their last respects on earth to the deceased bad personally known him in life The evidences of real sorrow wore manifest on many countenances and it was apparent that all felt that the community had lost one of its strong and forceful characters If one looks about him and notes how few comparatively there are among his acquaintances and friends whose death would arouse such widespread and Sincere mourning he will conclude that it is a splendid lejraay which Colonel HOLLISTER left his widow and family in the distinctive personality which he created in this world There must be greater consolation for the bereaved in this than in all the words of sympathy which can be uttered
