Fatal Accident at the Molllo Gibson I ASPEN Colo Feb 15be Mole Gibson I Gib-son was made the scene this morning of aI I teriible accident which caused tho death of three men The men were in the shaft and in order to got rid of dirt and rock bulkheaded the shaft at the fourth level and made a chute to tho lower level adjoining adjoin-ing tho workings The chute became choked up and water was pouied on the shale and rock to make it move Through carelessness tho men stood on tho mass of dirt taking no precaution for their safety The dirt suddenly started down the chute carrying Michael Ejjger aged 44 W L Sharp aged 20 and Michael Caples aged 25 with it They were suffocated Will iam Bailey was also on the dirt but caught hold of a timber in the roof and saved his life
