Davis To Drop CETA Program FARMINGTON Davis County is "dropping out" of the state-funded CETA program, prog-ram, effective immediately. THE announcement came Tuesday from Com. Ernest Eberhard. who said a letter has been sent to Gov. Scott Mathe-son Mathe-son informing him of the county's coun-ty's decision. Com. Eberhard told newcomers new-comers Glen Saunders and Harry Gerlach and a small audience au-dience that it is better for the county to fund the program by themselves, rather than rely upon the state. HE SAID a lot of larger counties nationwide have withdrawn from the program, leaving only smaller ones to deal with the state. And he explained ex-plained he doesn't know haw the state's program will survive sur-vive now. "It's one phase of funding," the commissioner said, "that the county does not want to bother with anymore." any-more." Com.
