FOOTPAD HOlDS WOMAN WHilE PAL ROBS HER HERBold Bold Eold Crime Perpetrated in Front Iron of Court Early last Night While one footpad caught and held Mrs Elizabeth Sauer tightly by the arms a companion seized her purse and wrenched It loose from the strap which fastened It to her wrist in n front fron fronti of court on Third South street between West Temple Templo and First Firs West street at about last las night The men then released their victim and in fA the alley leading to the court Mrs Sauer who lives at South First West street had about 10 in her purse The attack of the thugs was witnessed by W L Cooper who lives lines at South First West street He was a short distance a away yay 7 from the tha woman and started to run to her assistance but arrived too late to in Cooper describes the footpads ds as be ing young in appearance on one wearing a brown slouch hat and the other a derby One of the men wore a white collar and both were roughly dressed The police were notified of ot ta tb the rob bery
