tI ATTENTION AND AFFECTION Appeal was made the other day for tor fora torn a n home for tor a a little boy of ot five years His mother is IJ dead and his father Is unable to give him the attention and affection he needs He Ha is healthy and of ot good stock He Ha win will probably be ba an acquisition to the tha family that adopts him The incident arouses a train of re reflection reflection That is what most children need affection and attention They have bave their homes and they never suffer suf Jut suffer fer tel for tor food tood They are comfortably clothed and have good beds in hi which to sleep Indeed they have plenty of at toys and abundant accessories for tor play Yet these things represent nothing but money They are desired but there is Js something else needed attention n nand and affection That boy Is rich whose father tather takes him on the tho knee and tells him stories That boy is rich whose mother has time to devote to him They need the attention even in the richest of ot homes and it is the only way they have to know that they are recipients of at affection Give the sons of the rich the atten attention attention attention tion and affection this little orphan asks and they have havo a bet better better better ter chance chanca to grow up as comforts and blessings to their parents Give the sons of ot the poor affection and atten attention attention tion and they repay a thousand times a day and with each passing year the costly blessing that is lavished upon them
