Show Farmington By KATHRYN JENNINGS Lt. Stephen R. Brown graduated from Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, on Sept. 17. He was chosen as the outstanding out-standing second lieutenant, a pilot leader. He was master of ceremonies at the graduation exercises banquet and was given a special award for formation for-mation flying. He was the only pilot who received the F-15 plane. He will train at Luke AFB in Phoenix, Ariz. Stephen is the son of Ruth S. Brown, 278 East 100 North in Farmington, and the late Norman K. Brown. Mrs. Brown attended the graduation exercises for her outstanding son. She was taken on several sightseeing trips, saw the prominent bridge between Eagle Pass, Texas and Piedras Negras, Mexico, and did some shopping shop-ping in Mexico. Ruth Brown entertained two of her cousins over the past weekend, Margaret Gease of Riverside, Calif., and Deasta Whitney of Brigham City. Ruth's sister, Patricia Fowler, was also a guest and her father, Dr. R. C. Robinson hosted a dinner party for the group. |
