Show Principal comes home from war was very successful. The talents displayed were astounding. There were musicians, dancers, singers and, of course, everybody's favorite, the Sibling Can Crushing. The prowess and ability presented f Cat yfflpt) (Chafgj were absolutely unbelievable. (And I mean that.) The annual WX Traditions of Excellence night will be held on Monday, March 25. This is a terrific opportunity for incoming sophomores and their parents to get acquainted with all of the wonderful things that Woods Cross High has to offer. The program will start at 7 p.m. in the auditorium and will feature such Wildcat favorites as the Pep Club, cheerleaders, Chatelles, Jazz Band, Madrigals and drama. Don't miss this excellent chance to get acquainted with "Simply the Best" high school around! Speaking of "Simply the Best," tryouts for the fabulous Wildcat Cheerleadering squad begin next week. The cheerleaders are such a vital part of our school spirit, and we really appreciate all that they do. Best wishes to everyone trying out! Thursday is the end of the third term. Therefore, Friday it will be the last of our thrice-annual Career Ladder Days. Have you ever wondered why it's called Career Ladder Day? Hmm, I guess that is just another point to ponder in this endless question called life. Have a ponderous week! By Kim Woodbury In this article, I have had the opportunity op-portunity of talking about many exciting ex-citing events. Never before, however, has there been anything as exciting as what I am about to say. Mr. Hawkins is coming home!! Yes, it is true. Our beloved principal will be returning from military duty next week. Although Mr. J arm an has done a terrific job, we all really missed "Wally." We are very fortunate for-tunate that the war was ended so swiftly and that Mr. Hawkins can return safely to those who love him. Congratulations to our incredible drama department, who recently q ual ified 16 people to attend national competitions in Chicago and New York. Those qualifying for Chicago are Leeann Stone, Katie Dewey and Kim Woodbury. Those attending the competition in New York are Brittany Blaser, Kim Porter, Cassie Richards, Natalie Harris, Kim Woodbury, Alan Kendall, Danny Chapman, Melissa Ericksen, Alisa Rafferty, Brandon Blaser, Emily Tanner, J anna Clark and Erin Wright.
