The Kearns clinics are offerd in the Southwest Medical Center located at 5255 So. 4015 West, in the rear basement. All parents are being invited to attend. Tough Love offers a parent support group, meeting to support one another in dealing with problems presented by teenagers. The group is being started by representatives of the national organization, founded by Phyllis and David York, said a spokesman. The organizations manual is a self-helhandbook offering help to parents who want to stop the selfdestructive behavior of their children, she said, and is filled with practical ideas that work. A group presently meeting in Bountiful, organized for deaf parents, will also begin meeting in the West Valley facility, at the same time. Both groups will meet in the education center, located off the parking lot, across from the emergency entrance to the hospital. There are no fees associated with the Tough Love program. p GRANGER. Changes in the presidency were made Sunday during conference sessions in Jordan stake. David A. Christensen was sustained as stake president folllowing the release of president Robert B. Arnold and his counselors, Lonnie D. Ayers and Ralph Boren. Sustained with the new president were Mr. Boren as first counselor and Pita M. Kinikini, second counselor. Mr. Christensen is presently serving as bishop of the Jordan North 14th ward, and Mr. Kinikini as bishop of the Jordan 2nd ward. Both will be released from those positions when new bishoprics are sustained. In other conference business, seven men were presented for advancement into the Melchizedek priesthood.
