The screenings are held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from p.m. at the societys headquarter, 661 So. 200 East. No appointment is necessary. The test, called tonometry, is a simple and painless way to check the pressure within the eye, according to a society press release. It is not diagnostic, and it is not an eye examine, but it does pinpoint those people with elevated eye pressure symptom usually associated with glaucoma. Glaucoma develops without pain or symptoms, according to a society press release. Although sight lost to the disease cannot be restored, early diagnosis and prompt treatment can halt the progress of the disease in most cases. The society suggests those people 35 years and over have glaucoma tests every other year. p Nature CD World of Strange Powers Hunter Q Starman Q O Austin City Limits CD On Stage at Wolf Trap Gunsmoke 10:00 News O Q Country Express CD Penn and Teller Go Public WWF Wrestling 10:30 Utah Summer Games Q MOVIE: Invasion of the 9:00 Sign Off THURSDAY Q O Q Q 3:00 SALT LAKE.
