Show S.Sgt. Evan Sproul and Miss Carma Cameron Marry At Bride's Home WASHINGTON, Utah. S.Sgt. Evan Sproul, who returned recently re-cently from the Hawaiian Islands where he has been on military duty for the past several months, took advantage of his 2I-day furlough fur-lough to consumate his marriage with Miss Carma Cameron, daughter daugh-ter Of Bishop and Mrs. Ben Cameron, Cam-eron, formerly of Panguitch and St. George and now of Las Vegas. Sgt. Sproul is a son of Mrs. Aggie Sproul of Washington and was a student of Dixie junior college col-lege when he left with the 115th Engineers in March, 1941. Miss Cameron also attended Dixie junior college before moving to Las Vegas, and is now employed at defense work in Los Angeles. The couple were married on the evening of May 26 at the Cameron Cam-eron home in Las Vegas, the bride's father performing the ceremony cere-mony in the presence of a small' group of relatives and intimate friends, the group including the groom's mother and sister, Roma, of Washington. On Friday evening, Mrs. Sproul and her daughter entertained at a shower honoring the bride, a l large crowd of relatives and friends from Washington and St.I George attending. The couple left Saturday for Los Angeles where they will spend a short honeymoon, before Sgt. Sproul returns to Camp San Luis Obispo for his next assignment. |
