Show Miss Evy Rean Coy and Dudley L. Leavitt To Be Married Here Friday Miss Evy Rean Cox, daughter of Frank L. Cox of this city, will make her marriage vows in the St. George Temple Friday with Dudley L. Leavitt of Boulder City, Nev., son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leavitt, of Bunkerville. Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Dixie junior college, col-lege, Miss Cox reigned as "D" Queen in 1937. Since then she has been secretary to the president presi-dent of the college for two years. Mr. Leavitt filled a mission for the church in England following his graduation and has since been employed as a guide at Boulder Dam. Several social functions have honored Miss Cox during the past week. Following a brief trip to San Francisco, the couple will return to Boulder City to reside. A community party was held at Bunkerville Wednesday evening honoring the bridal couple. This was also attended by a number of relatives and friends from St. George, including Postmaster and Mrs. William Brooks, Mrs. Laurel Leavitt, Mrs. Walter Miles, Mrs. Rosina Blake, Frank L. Cox and daughter, LaRue. |
