Show Washington Caddie Neilson Lydia Stephens Reporters Improvements to the school grounds were completed last week when cement walks were laid from the sidewalk to the school house and gym doors, the two walks being connected by one around the south and west side of the school house. This was made possible through the combined com-bined efforts of the school and city officers. Mrs. Willard Williams and baby of Kannarraville are spending a few days here with her mother, Mrs. Zina Prisbrey. Clayton Williams made a business busi-ness trip to Los Angeles last week. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hanly of Mesquite were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Adams Tuesday. The first load of bunch onions from here left Wednesday for Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Jolley entertained several couples at Pinochle Friday night. John Keat of Overton was a visitor at the home of his sister, Caddie Neilson Saturday. Mrs. Elsie Reber entertained the Just-A-Mere club Wednesday afternoon. Rook was the diversion. diver-sion. Mrs. Carma Staheli and Mrs. Marie Williams won first and second prizes respectively. Heber Atkin left Thursday for Los Angeles where he will remain re-main with his children. Mrs. Carma Staheli entertained several small guests at a birthday birth-day anniversary party Thursday in honor of her small sons, Kay and Frankie. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Iverson have received word of the birth of a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams of Kanarraville. Mrs. Williams was the former ' Miss Berniece Iverson of this olace. Miss Doris Tobler of Cedar City spent the week-end here with her parents. Eugene Whitney left last week for Springville where he has employment. |
