OCR Text	Show S. H. WORTHEN, SR. DIES AT SALT LAKE HOSPITAL Samuel Henry Worthen, Sr., 77, died Wednesday at a Salt Lake hospital. Mr. Worthen was born Dec. 24, 1851 and was the son of the late Sarah and Hallum Worthen. His early life was spent in St. George where he married Sarah Jane Crage. Shortly afterward they moved to Salt Lake where he bee me prominent in the building and contracting line. He retired re-tired from his business pursuits several years ago. Surviving are seven brothers and sisters sis-ters and the following children: James W, Samuel H., and Leo C. Worthen. Mrs Mary Smoot Poulten all of Salt Lake; Wallace W'orthen, Florence, Colo ' Mrs. David Hoge and Mrs. Edwin Ed-win Gittens, Butte, Mont. There are 25 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced an-nounced later.
