Show Mrs. Mina M. Stout Dies Of Injuries Suffered In Auto Accident Sat. HURRICANE, Utah. Mrs. Mina M. Stout, 44, died Monday morning morn-ing at 8 a. m., in a Fillmore hospital hos-pital of injuries suffered in an auto accident near Fillmore Saturday Sat-urday evening. Mrs. Stout was returning from Salt Lake City with her husband, Allen J. Stout, when the accident occured. Mr. Stout and Waldo Hirschi, the other occupant of the car received only minor cuts and bruises. According to state highway patrolmen, pa-trolmen, Mr. Stout, driving south, collided with an automobile driven by Roy Dearden of Fillmore, who was making a left-hand trun. The Dearden machine was facing west on the highway when the Stout car, far over on the right lane, struck the front of the Dearden car, swerved east and skidded 177 feet before overturning in the barrow pit. Funeral service were held at 2 p. m., this (Thursday) afternoon after-noon in the Zion Parq stake chapel with Orval Webb in charge. Speakers were Bishop Elmer A. Graff, and Pres. Alvin Englestead. Musical numbers consisted of a duet by Donworth Gubler and Verlene Sullivan; vocal solo, Paul Wilson ; violin solo, Irene Everett; Ever-ett; duet, Irene Brooks and Venice Ven-ice Stratton; vocal solo, Walter Stout. Mrs. Stout was born in Circle-ville, Circle-ville, February 14, 1897, a daughter daugh-ter of Edward and Hannah Wilson Wil-son Morrill. She married Allen J. Stout on June 6, 1916. Surviving beside her husband, who is bishop of the Hurricane North ward are three sons, Gerald M. Stout, who is serving a mission in San Diego, Calif., Don M. Stout and Hall M. Stout; her mother and a sister, Mrs. Madge Morrill Cannon of St. George. |
