Show The G. A. It. CouimamlorHlitp. Jlinneapolis, Feb. 20. Captain Eli Torranee of Minneapolis, judge-ad vo-cate-g-eneral of the National G. A. R. organization has made his decision in the matter of the disputed succession to the national eommandership, made vacant by the death of Colonel Sexton of Chicago. The decision is that a successor must be elected; that there is no promotion in the G. A. R. through death. Captain Torrance holds that the executive committee of the national council has full power to elect the commander. |
