Show Funeral Services Held For Doyle Gordon Doyle Gordon, age 61, passed away Sept. 2, 1975, at Allen Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Doyle was born April 2, 1914 to John J. and Mary Jane Gordon of Park City, Utah. He married Velma I. Tekavec, in Salt Lake City, Dec. 24, 1944. To this union were born 7 children, Mrs. John (Geral-dine) (Geral-dine) Austin, Post Falls, Idaho; Gregory Gordon, Sandy, San-dy, Utah; Gail Gordon, Price; Georgia Gordon, Price; Mrs. Mark (Gianne) Simmons, and Dennis Gordon, both of Moab. One son, Grant Gordon, preceeded his father in death. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Reva Richardson and brothers Deil Gordon, Park City; Ferrel Gordon, Rock Springs, Wyo.; 3 half-brothers, Bob Richardson, Park City; Bill Richardson. Butte. Mont.; and Don Richardson, Rock Springs, Wyo. Sisters surviving are Mrs. Ted (Wanda) (Wan-da) Mann, and Mrs. J. B. (Wilma) Reno, both of Henderson, Hen-derson, Nevada, and 5 grandchildren. grand-children. Doyle had been a resident of Moab for the past 20 years, where he worked in the mines, with business partner Charles Brechtel in eastern Utah and western Colorado. He was the owner of Ouray Uranium, until health forced him to retire. He was employed by Burns International Inter-national Securities and Atlas Minerals. Doyle was a member of the Elks Lodge, the LDS Church, and was a veteran of World War II. Services were held, Saturday, Sept. 6, 1975 at the LDS Church with Bishop Ed Johnson John-son presiding. The prelude-postlude prelude-postlude was offered by Roberta Knutson, and the opening prayer was by Ncal Dalton. Obituary and talk were given by Lynn Hawks, and the closing prayer was by LeRoy Walker. Songs were sung by Arncl Holvoak, Wynona Dalton. Dal-ton. Roberta Knutson and Cheryl Nyland. Debbie Dalton was organist. The dedication of the grave was by Bishop Johnson, with full military rites at graveside. Pall bearers were Mark Simmons. Jack Gordon. Brent Richardson, Deil Kay Gordon, James Warden and Jim Brock. , Honorary pall bearers were Steve Brownell. Karl Kraync. George Vroncsh. Howard Bal-slcy. Bal-slcy. David Axtell and Hank Johnston. The burial was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, with arrangements ar-rangements by Turner Funeral Home. Out of town relatives here for the services were sons, Grcuorv and wife Collettc, from Sandy, Utah; Gail and wife Mcrri. Price; daughters Georgia. Price and Geraldinc, Post Falls. Idaho.
